DEMOLITION OF JACQUES BREL JETTY

The Jacques Brel jetty, the central point in the Zeebrugge marina, is in very bad condition. This threatens to compromise the jetty’s stability. For that reason, the Coastal Division had to demolish the jetty. Firstly, the concrete slab and piles were removed. Then, the dam that sits below the jetty was demolished. Finally, dredging was undertaken to reach the desired level.
